Cynthia B. Almonte is a highly trained manual physical therapist with 20 years of experience in orthopedic and spine injuries.  Studying Physical Therapy school in Europe, she graduated from Hogeschool van Amsterdam, The Netherlands in 1997. Since then, she has continued her education by pursuing multiple courses at several world renowned institutes.


Taking great interest in the field of manual therapy she studied the teachings of world renowned practitioners including Stanley Paris, Geoff Maitland, Brian Mulligan, Diane Lee and others, and became a Certified Functional Manual Therapist® through the Institute of Physical Art in 2007.  She developed a strong interest in the field of scoliosis and became a Level 1 (C1) certified Schroth therapist in 2015 then a C2 (ADVANCED LEVEL 2) Certified Schroth™ Therapist in 2016 through the Barcelona Scoliosis Physical Therapy School specializing in the treatment of patients with scoliosis.


Cynthia is an avid traveler having lived in 4 different continents and visited over 25 different countries.  She received her black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu in 2012 and currently resides in Placentia, California with her husband, also a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and their five year old son.  Together they own a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu school in Corona, California.
